INTERNATIONAL ECCLESIA DEI ASSOCIATION

ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA CHAPTER

St. Anthony of Padua Chapter
celebrates its 2nd Anniversary

September 12, 1993 was the first meeting of the St. Anthony
of Padua Chapter of the International Ecclesia Dei Association,
after the 2:00 Latin Mass at Our Lady of Consolation. Almost every
month since then we’ve been getting together.

For our first anniversary, there was a very successful
"Catholic Information Night" at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall in
Malvern, where some prominent pro-lifers spoke.

We have had trips, such as the trip to the Cloisters in New
York to appreciate our Catholic heritage. We’ve had talks, such as
Fr. Kehoe’s series on the Spiritual Works of Mercy and Dr. Thomas
Droleskey’s talks. We’ve distributed hundreds of fliers about the
Latin Mass to let people know it’s here for us, every Sunday, for
anyone who wants it.

We are now working on getting the Latin Mass in other
locations and at more normal times. We sent out petition papers for
people in Chester and Montgomery Counties for them to sign and
return. With no return envelope or return postage, over 200 people
signed the petition papers, asking for the Latin Mass in a location
that is not so far away! It is the Holy Father’s will that our
needs be met, as he expressed in "Ecclesia Dei", and the Cardinal
has shown that he is willing to do what the Pope wants by already
granting 2 Masses in the Archdiocese. Now we just need to wait
until he gets the petitions...
