a Map to an imaginary place

by Makenzie Van Vooren

Part 1: Map

The map had been around for a near fourteen thousand years; so the tests had said. But it didn't look that way. Anyway, the map came in two parts; a tube with both ends made of clay, and the map. The tube was made of bronze and on both ends of the tube, was a seal of some sort. The seal had two winged creatures; they had the head of a lion, talons of an eagle, and the body of a dragon. Also on the seal were three characters, unknown to all mankind but hardly visible. The mysteries have not been uncovered, no one knows what they mean, and no one has dared to. So, will you be the first?

Part 2: Owner

Ritto;

A Dark brown German Shepherd with a jet black splotch on his back

He has a long scar across his muzzle and has earned the name Scar-face

He is a kerso (Not yet an elder (adult), but not a nip (puppy) either. He in the middle)

He is fearless when he needs to be, and will fight to protect everyone and everything that matters to him

Ritto is a aftok (troop) of the T.S.S.T.T.(The Secret Society of the Taert Temple) and hopes to be promoted to a Topper (leader)

Part 3: Setting

The map of the Taert Treasure Temple's Tablet is being on close watch by the T.S.S.T.T.'s agents, in the Nukku Museum, a very busy public museum.

The museum is located in Seattle, Washington, and it takes a long time to get there from Ritto's Owner's house in Kettle Falls, Washington.

Ritto's Owners house is on a hillside, and behind the house the hill slopes down into a big lake with lots of reeds and a dock. In front of the house is the driveway, and behind the driveway is a garage, behind that is a light forest. To the right of the house is a shed and cabin, plus very open space that is perfect for camping out.

Part 4: Other Character

Snipe is a mixed breed of a fox and a shiba inu, and he is a kerso. His blood red coat allows him to blend into the dark. Being offspring of a fox makes him sneaky and sly, so no one trusts him full-hartedly, except his soon to be best friend, Ritto.

Part 5: Dream: An ancient Map of the Unknown

There it was, a scroll yellowed with age. It looked like it needed to get somewhere, do something. Plus it seemed to be calling to HIM.

On it was the mixed languages of ancient Dog and Cat, but it was easy to read. Because the modern languages were not that different of those of our ancestors. Ritto heard a growl. A growl? He turned around. Some THING in a hooded cape, its smell reeked of, well UGH!! Then the ting turned around to face Ritto. It charged straight at him! Its glowing eyes were looking at his paws and in it was the map! He was getting closer, even closer, then BAM!

Ritto awoke, panting like crazy. That was the third time he'd had that dream, why? Ritto got up, and strolled away leaving that answer for later.
