Peter lived on a poor farm in Northern Wisconsin. Peter's family has cows, horses, chickens and sheep. Their farm is way out in the country. One especially cold winter day, he found a new leather book in the barn under some hay.
Peter's Mother was a short woman with gray hair and dark brown eyes. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning the house. Although they were poor she always managed to serve a delicious meal.
