Waru ShikuHaku

Ability: Greatest and Most Powerful Fighter

The character's super power would be to be one of the world's greatest and most powerful fighters.

The character could have several different talents; only one incredibly complex, the rest minor though still unique.

The first ability would be to be able to create ashes from mid-air at will; only not ordinary ashes- ones that burn whatever they touch, even metal (though only weaker kinds of it). Also they would be able to control the ashes and throw them at whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted.

The second skill would be the character could be an expert at swordsmanship, and be able to throw and aim their tin, light sword at any target within twenty yards. And also, the character could have tiny cat-like claws upon each finger tip, as a last resort weapon.

The other option is that the character could fly; perhaps have wings even. Generally with the combination of all three of these, the character could be incredibly powerful- though certainly not unstoppable.

Waru ShikuHaku

Waru ShikuHaku is a monster raven. He truthfully had no last name, but gave himself the title 'ShikuHaku' for it's meaning- 'To be in agony'. His first name, well... it literally means "Evil". Why exactly does his name mean 'evil', you ask? Simply because it is the most fitting title one could give this creature. Death and destruction are his passions, and he must be stopped. Either that, or change his ways in some way- but how could he be changed when this far lost?

He appears man-like creature; one who looks in his early twenties in age if one went by human years; though in truth is well over hundreds of years old. His skin is pale, deathly white; and pressed tightly against the bone and muscle; as if he had no muscle or flesh at all. This makes him appear weak and fragile- though that was is surely not the case.

Long, silky and downright bushy ebony hair falls down his back, thick near the top, though growing thinner on it's way down until it was but a few stands where it ended at Waru's waistline.

Covering Waru's body almost entirely was thick, spiked black armor with intricate designs of raven feathers along it entirely, in a continuously realistic pattern. Not much skin shows from underneath the armor; the fingers, the shoulders, the neck and head, and spots of the arms. From Waru's back sprouts two large wings; which appeared to be REAL raven feathers. Pitch black and small, yet intricately curved black claws can be seen shown at the tip of each of Waru's ghostly fingers; giving him an even more demonic appearance. His face is thin and slightly pointed, and his lips are slender and of a clouded gray color, not to mention pleasingly bow-shaped. Attached to his armor- by the waistline- is a samurai sword in an ebony sheathe with a magical talisman sealing the weapon into it's holder. Also strapped to his back is a bow- which matched his armor perfectly- and a quiver filled with fine, black-tipped arrows.

Currently, Waru Shikuhaku has no current location. He is a wanderer, an outcast, a mercenary for himself.

Why does he have no home, you ask? Simple. His species, monster ravens, are strictly wanderers, and hate all civilization whatsoever. Normally at scarily young age, monster ravens are cast out by their parents to survive on their own, and if they can't fight against the harsh world and live, then it's considered better that they die than live to become weak.

Of course, Waru managed to survive through all of that; by now he's hundreds of years old. The closest thing to a 'home' he has is a small gap high atop a mountain- on a cliff top, really- that is like a cave. He stayed there for a short period of time, before departing to travel elsewhere...

Trinity Tsubasa, however, does infact have a home. The homely, peaceful town of Maki-Gami. It is located seemingly in the middle of nowhere, where outside the city, where is hilled grassland as far as the eye can see to the north, a small, rocky stream to the west; and last off all a lush forest covering the east and south, with a stone pathway from the village into it. The forest has been named "Jan Ken Pon", which means, quite literally, "Rock Paper Scissors." The villagers who named it didn't have the best naming ideas for things... Also, inside the forest, near the middle, there are tall, rocky mountains.

Anyway, back to details on Maki-Gami. It is, as I stated previously, a peaceful town in the middle of nowhere surrounded by grassland, forest, mountains, and streams. The town is divided into two sections by a tall wooden fence with thatching on the top; the half closest to the hilly grassland is the market. It consists of many cheaply-made wooden, thatched, or mud-brick buildings packed together so tightly not even alleyways exist. The only space between the two rows of tightly-packed buildings is a dirt street and two sidewalks made of cobblestone on either side, which are always bustling with people. The most busy area, however, is a space where the road and houses extend outward to form a circular town center with a large statue in the middle. Lots of sellers and beggars go there, and also some sit on mats selling foreign goods such as intricate pots and vases or jewelry.

The other area is closest to the forest, and even on one side is connected to the forest of Jan Ken Pon. It is the home area, which is the largest part of the city. There are many houses arranged together in a circular pattern, all of which are made much more sturdily than the shops; they combine wood, mud, thatching and tree bark in hopes of being more stable. Unfortunately, that causes the entire city to be HIGHLY flammable. So much so that if the tiniest bit of smoke is seen, it causes a ruckus.

The two characters will encounter many other vivid locations during the story; including the starting point. What these are, I cannot say.

I should also mention if I haven't already, the story will be played out through a series of flash-backs to leave you thinking. So basically, the beginning is at the end, and the end then goes to the beginning. But don't worry- by 'the end', I don't mean that the ending will all be revealed in the first paragraph.

Trinity Tsubasa

Trinity Tsubasa is a kind, young, naïve and quiet girl, who can be easily corrupted and mislead. Her age is unknown, but judging by the way her body is formed, she is most likely in the age rank of seventeen or so.

Reddish locks of straight, sleek hair fall loose to the young girl, Trinity’s neck, where there they are tied back into a thin stand of a ponytail by a thin, off-white ribbon. There the reddish ponytail goes to Trinity’s lower back. A small piece of ‘jewelry’- if you could even call it that- is wrapped and secured tightly around the girl’s forehead. It appears to be pieces of golden thread- most likely, fake, woven tightly in the way a rope would be, and in thickness, the woven threads are together around a half-inch. Her clothing is a stained white- more so off-white, or maybe cream- colored, sleeveless dress. It is armless, and held on by a ring of golden threads which encircles the neck and shoulders, coming into spaghetti straps of sorts, each tied into a small bow at the top to hold them up more, as if Trinity had’t grown into the dress fully. The fabric of the dress is somewhat silky; it’s texture ridged and rippled almost to the touch, almost like there are stripes going down it.

Trinity is thin and fragile for her age- mostly from the lack of food where she comes from. She lives in a small, poor town that goes by the name of ‘Maki-gami’, which means ‘rolled paper’. Who knows why exactly it’s called that, perhaps because of the large amount of paper products they sell there- Paper Lanterns, Origami figures, original artwork, and much more.

Also, I must add, Trinity has never seen a demon of any sort, no to mention, Waru.

What exactly is her relation with our main character, then, you ask? Aha, but that is to be revealed within the plot of the story.
