One day, Josh Thunderbolt went out on a stroll. Josh Thunderbolt is an amiable fifteen-year-old who owns a jetpack skateboard. He wears big jeans, no sleeves and wears cool necklaces. He is blonde, tall and has spikey hair. He also likes biking but he does not wear safety helmets. And lastly, he loves listening to rock music.
Josh was riding his jetpack skateboard when two people threw a cloth on top of him. A jetpack skateboard is a skatboard that has a machine that acts like a jetpack. It has two wings and miniature engines on each wing. It has a control dial that allows you to choose speeds from slow, medium, fast and super fast. The only way it can fly is if it is on super fast gear. There are two feet straps so you will not fall off of the skateboard.
Two mysterious people took Josh into their car and put Josh on a boat at the dock and pushed it away from land. He went through lots of dangers and Josh was unconscious all this time. The two people who put Josh on the boat forgot to take off the skateboard from Josh's feet. Since it was still strapped on to his feet, it traveled with Josh to where ever he was heading to. Josh finally woke up on a deserted island with little food.
He was starving when he woke up, so Josh went to look for food. All he found were three bunches of bananas, ten coconuts, two oranges and a soybean stock. Josh put all the food together and he only counted seven days worth of food!
Then, Josh looked inside the boat and he found two cans of corn and his jetpack skateboard. He thought of putting together his skateboard with the boat and make it into one contraption, but he didn't have the tools to put them together.
After Josh ate lunch, he went to look for other people. He circled the island twice and but he found nothing. After two hours, Josh was just about to give up when he found a house!
Josh quietly went into the house. Suddently, a net fell on top of him. Then out of nowhere four people appeared. There was a father and a mother and two children, a boy and a girl. Josh was surprised that there were other people on the island. He wondered how the people got there.
When the father saw that he caught Josh, he apologized immediately and took him out of the net. Josh was amazed that it was such a clean house and they were very nice people. Josh asked how they got on the island. The mother replied, "there was a storm and we got shipwrecked on this island with nothing but tools and some rags." When Josh heard this, he felt sorry for them.
Josh also asked why they had tools with them when they where stranded on the island. The dad replied, "I was an engineer and then I got laid off so we packed up everything and went on the boat that crashed and landed here." Josh looked around and he saw that the dad had the tools to put the jetpack skateboard and the boat together. Then the children asked Josh if he can stay in their house. Josh accepted. So the parents made a leaf bed for Josh.
Josh woke up early to get a fresh start. When the children woke up and saw that he wasn’t there, they rushed to tell their parents. They thought that an animal ate him. When the dad heard this, immediately got up to look for him. After searching for a long time they found him on the beach eating. Everyone was relieved.
Josh asked if the dad could put a boat and the jetpack skateboard together. He replied, "I might be able to but first I have to take a look at it". When the dad saw it, he said he would be able to put it together but if they all rode on it at the same time it would go nowhere. Then Josh had an idea. The next morning Josh told them that he was going somwhere, when the mom asked where he was going, he wouldn’t tell.
Secretly, he flew on his jetpack skateboard to look for help. He found his house after a while and told his parents the whole story. After a while he went to get his friend’s dad who owned a big boat and told him where the island was so they went out to get the people. When he arrived they were surprised that he picked them up from the island. From then on the two kids and the parents lived with Josh and his family. Since then, Josh only used the jetpack skateboard for emergencies and special occasions.
