Timkin's Adventure

There is a place in Fazou China that is called The Coconut Jungle. In this jungle there are all sorts of animals but there are also creatures called Leopardonians. They are the size of a medium sized dog. They speak english but sometimes speak jungle languages. They go to or teach at a Catholic Jungle School. Their skin is tanned with a lot of freckles. When they are adults they turn totally brown. Each year they grow a hundred new freckles.

There is a little leopardian named Timkin. He likes to get into things. He is different beacause he wears a yellow suit while the others wear orange ones. He is two years old. He has one white foot that stands out it a crowd. His Cajon's (father) name is Canon and his Docaps (mother) name is Micro. He has a fronkette (sister) named Skyro, she is fifteen years old. They spend a lot of time together.

Timkin and his family are planning a vacation to Hawaii! He is very excited about going on a trip to explore new things!

Timken and his family are getting ready for their trip to Hawaii. His parents are going to help the childern that can not go to school there. They are packing all sorts of things like coconuts (because they aren't sure if Hawaii has them), fur suntan lotion, and they are bringing their bathing suits. While they are getting ready Timken gets a case of the lepiepox. This is sort of like the chickenpox for a leopardonian. The family have to call the trip for another time. That night Timken overheard his parents talking. His cajon said "we will go in one week." His docap said " what about Timken?. Lepiepox don't clear for about two weeks." Then he fell asleep . Timken had strange dreams all night long. He dreamed that his cajon, docap and fronkette went on the trip to Hawaii without him.

One week later Timkens' family was getting ready to leave the next day.His grandparents were over and Timken thinks that he is staying with them because the lepiepox is still with him a little bit. Timken starts saying goodbye to all his family while thinking that his dreams last week are going to come true. His docap and cajon start laughing at him saying goodbye to them because they tell him that it is OK for him to come on the trip too. Timken jumps up and down with excitement. He starts throwing his things into suitcase but his docap says that she has already packed for him.

The next day Timken, Skyrow , Canon and Micro leave the Fazou Jungle. They have a lot of luggage as they are bringing many books for the children their parents are going to work with. They have to take a train out of the jungle to the coast of China. There, they board a funny looking boat named "FurrYou Transport". This is a special liner that transport leopardonians and other furry creatures. No People allowed. The boat ride was very long but there was much to do. There were places to play games like chess, pool and badminton. There were bingo halls where you win money. The best thing on the boat was the rooms. Everyone had their own room and there were boxes on the walls of the cabins that shows moving pictures. It was really neat. There were lots of other furry animals to play with and Timken especially like a new friend named Fred. He was a leopardonian too that was going on vacation to Prince Edward Island. He said it was supposed to be a very beautiful place.

Finally, after 2 weeks on the boat they arrive on the island of Hawaii. Timken says goodbye to his new friend Fred. Timkens' family go to the hotel that they have booked. The room at the hotel are very big but he finds out he has to share with his fronkette Skyrow. Yuck!! The family are tired after their long trip and go to bed early.

The next morning Timken and Skyrow decide to explore the island of Hawaii. Their parents have to go see the children who need their help so they tell Skyrow to look after Timken. They decide to go on a picnic. They walk for about 15 minutes when Skyrow remebers that they have forgooten their picnic basket. They will be hungry. She tells Timken to stay by an old tree that has a letter "Z" marked on it. There is soft grass there and Timken can lie and wait for her. She returns for the basket.

Timken is very good for the first few minutes and then he gets tired waiting. He decides to explore just around where he is. Surely he can't get into trouble here. He walks for a short while when he hears this roaring sound. He gets a little scared and starts looking around for Skyrow. She still is not back. The sound gets louder and louder. All of a sudden this huge funnel of wind that is spinning quite fast is roaring toward him. He doesn't know what to do. He starts crying and wishing that someone was with him. The funnel picks his little body up and he is spun far away.

Timken is spinning wildly around in the funnel not knowing where he is going to end up. He does not know how far he has gone. The funnel finally stops spinning and he falls hard to the ground. He is confused and doesn't know where he is or how to get back to his amily. He stands up and starts looking around. He can't see anything and suddenly realizes that it is dark. How can it be dark when it is daytime? Or how long have I been spinning, Timken wonders.

Timken stumbles around until he trips over something. He looks back and there is a little tiny person the size of a mouse. Timken asks him what his name is and the little person says, "I'm Little Armstrong". Timken asks Little Armstrong if he knows where they are. Little Armstrong says that they are on the Island of Pooka, off the coast of Hawaii. He also tells Timken that it is an island of night and there is never sunlight. Little Armstrong tells Timken that he has been lost on the island for three months. Timken does not know how he will ever get back to his family.

Little Armstrong has special powers. He tells Timken that he can see far if only he is up high. Timken carries Little Armstrong up the tallest tree on the island. It is a long, hard climb but after half a day they reach the tall tree. Timken pushes Little Armstrong up the tree and he climbs it to the top. Little Armstrong uses his special powers that allow his eyes to glow up and see great distances. He can see where they are and he notices that on the north side of the island there is an old boat. If they go there they can row back to the island of Hawaii and get back to Timken's family.

Timken and Little Armstrong make their way to the north side and find the boat. They start to row towards Hawaii. They have a long ride ahead. Finally after two days at sea they reach the shores of Hawaii. Finally Timken can find his family.

Timken and Little Armstrong start walking straight. After they walked for three hours they got to the edge of the forest. They started jumping for joy because Timken sees the hotel his family was staying in. They walked towards the hotel hoping that his family was still there.

As they got closer to the hotel Timken and Little Armstrong saw lots of people around the pool area. The group of people were actually a search party that had been looking for Timken. Skyrow saw her little fronk out of the corner of her eye. She couldn't believe it. She yelled out to her cajun and docap that Timken was walking on the beach. They rushed toward him.

Timkens family were so happy to see him that they hugged him so hard they almost suffocated him. But he liked it. He introduced Little Armstrong and told them he had no family. His docap and cajun decide that they would adopt Little Armstrong. They decide that now that they are all together they will spend one more week in Hawaii. They spent the rest of their time in the Older Leopardonian Home telling them stories, making music and having fun.

Timken and his family head back to the Coconut Jungle where they live happily ever after - until the next adventure.
