Terry's Adventure

by Tara

Terry Greeter sighed every day it was the same thing: Get up, eat, fix the house, eat, go to sleep. He was tired of doing everything the same way. He wanted to play tricks on the other Greeters, yet he promised his mother he wouldn't. Right know he was walking around looking for some nice wood to cover his home with. All of a sudden he heard a noise behind him. He turned around and saw a native.

"What's your name?" asked Terry Greeter.

"I'm Sara"

"You don't live in my village do you?"

"I was just going to say the same thing about you."

"No, Come on."

"I've got to get home, I've been in captivity for days"

"Maybe someone in my village will know where your home is."

"Here is my village," said Sara Greeter.

"Wow!" this place is huge"

"Want to go swimming?" asked Sara.

"No, I've got to get home," Terry said.

"There is Grandpa Greeter, maybe he knows where your town is. Grandpa Greeter, this is Terry Greeter, he was captured and know he can't find his way back home. Do you know of another village around here?"

"Are you a builder?" asked Grandpa Greeter.

"No, I'm a digger." said Terry.

"Oh! I know where there is a digger town! I'll get a map," said Grandpa Greeter.

"I'm going to miss you, Terry."

"I'm going to miss you too, Sara"

"Well, here is the map, Terry," said Grandpa Greeter, "I wish you luck." Terry was excited, he was going home!

Terry was excited he was going home!

Terry walked for a way then he lay down. He was tired. He had spent all afternoon walking. After his adventure he had finally realized how important a schedule was.

Then he saw it. He could see his town in the distance. He was home. He started wadling as fast as he could (Greeters cannot run very well). He ran to his hole(because he is a digger he lives in a hole, unlike the builders).

Mother Greeter! Father Greeter! I'm home!

Terry had finally realized how important a schedule was, and how important his family was to him.
