Calarus's and Nickulus's Adventure

Calarus and his two freinds Bobby and Nickulus were walking along the base of the mountain(that is actually a dead volcano)where he lives(which is also where every other sclipto lives).

What is a sclipto you ask?

A sclipto is a creature that lives in a dead volcano on a hawaiian island. When they are young they are shaped like a t-rex, but then they biuld an egg around themselves and hatch into their adult form which looks like a winged dragon.

Calarus is a young sclipto, and he is the smallest. Even though he is small(1/2 a foot tall by 1/2 foot long)he can blow the largest fireballs(that measureup to 3 feet in diameter)!

Nickulus is exactly the oppisit of Calarus. He is the largest sclipto being 2 feet tall by 4 feet long. Nickulus is the only sclipto ever born in adult form, but is unable to blow fire balls.

Bobby is the average young sclipto.

Unknown to them however te tree people were establishing a base right on the other side of the island.

The tree people are badly named because they are not people and look more like bushes than trees i cannot tell you more than that because i have never seen one.

"Sir," said the tree people captain to the king "we have the power to , three times a day transport creature from all over the world to our hidden jail."

"Good,"said the king "we will start now!"

The friends were walking along when... Bobby vanished!

Calarus and Nickulus were speechless, but they wasted no time being very adventurous they set out to look for him. With Nickulus flying and Calarus on his back they circled around the mountian, but they just couldn't find Bobby. So they decided to fly across the island, but still they found nothing. They were begining to lose hope when they saw what looked like a castle made out of trees.

"What do you think it is?", asked Nickulus.

"It looks like something the tree people would build.", Calarus replied.

"We better go.", said Nickulus.

"Right.", Calarus affirmed.

Just then they saw a flash of light and what looked like a lightning bolt leave the castle. Then they saw a creature on the end of the bolt being sucked into the castle.

"Wow!", Calarus exclaimed. "Did you see that?"

"Yes,", answered Nickulus."I bet that is what happened to Bobby."

"Yep,", answered Calarus, "but we better get home."

"That goes double for me.", replied Nickulus.

So they flew home. They had to deal with woried parents before they could tell every one what they saw. Afterwards they began making a plan, but the parents thought it was to dangerous, so they had to wait. They waited about two weeks during which two scliptos disappeared. But still the parents would not agree.

So the kids had a secret meeting, all 21 remaining kids were there.

"There is no reason why you all shouldn't know why I called you here.", Calarus began. "Clearly we cannot just wait here while we disappear. We must make a plan."

They continued long into the night but finally they agreed on a plan. It was decided that tommorow morning Nickulus would fly with Speedala on his back (Speedala is a young female sclipto who is very fast and very sneaky) until he reached the castle then he would drop her off. She would spy on the tree people then come and tell everyone what she heard and saw.

The next night anothr meeting was held.

"It is the tree people for sure." Speedala began,"They have a machine that, three times a day, can transport creatures from across the world and-"

"What are we going to do!?" some of the kids cried.

"We could beat them by force!" others exclaimed.

"Not so fast," Speedala shouted,"they have an army of two hundred."

"Do they have any weapons?" Asked calarus.

"Only tranquilizers." Speedala answered.

"Then lets atack," calarus said, "the worst thing that could happen is we get put in that jail and that will hapen anyway if we wait."

"Then it is setled we'll move out tonight."They agreed."

They marched until they got half way beetween the castle and their mountain. They went to bed at midnight and woke up at six. Then marched until they reached the castle.

"What now?" some of the kids asked.

"Nickulus, fly over the castle and tell us when their coming." Calarus said,"In the meantime we'll be fireing at the castle."

They had destroyed one of the towers and had a big hole in the wall when nickulus came back.

"There are fifty headed this way and ten on the wall." he said.

"OK" Calarus said i'll take ten and go ahead, you and the rest stay and get the ones on the wall."

"Get ready..."calarus said as he waited for the tree people to come but just then he saw them"...FIRE!" Eleven fireballs sored through the air and several tree people fell.Then tons of darts wized by.

Nickulus and the others had gotten all of the ones on the wall when twenty tree people ambushed them "Get them!"Nickulus yelled. They did their best but when it was over only nickulus and speedala were left.

"RETREAT!" Calarus yelled.

Whwn they were all back into the forest only Calarus, Nickulus, Speedala, and one othr were left.They had hit over sixty.

"Have we lost?" some of them asked.

"I dont know." Calarus anwered, "Wait a minute, look over there they are picking tup the ones that got hit."

"I bet they are taking them to the jail." Nickulus said.

"Lets follow them." Speedala said.

"OK...", Calarus said,"Lets go."

They followed the tree people into the castle, but when they were in the main hall they were ambushed,overtaken, and brought before the king.

"What have you done to our freinds." calarus demanded.

"See for yourself." Said the king pointing to a huge jail full of creatures, a control panel, and a big machine."And that is where you will be as soon as I press that button."

The king started walking to the control panel, but when he was almost there he triped over one of his branches and fell right on the reverse button instantly all the creatures were out of the jail and the king was in."Hooray!"everyone shouted. And so they all went home.
