Creatures from the Clouds

Wizkitts are small elf like creatures that live in the clouds. They spend their days creating snowflakes in different shapes, sizes and patterns. The Wizkitt bonks (boys) and tinks (girls) play in the clouds with friendly dragons and winged horses , happily and free of any harm, except for the possibility of a bird or air plane flying through the cloud they are playing in. They eat stardust, and the remains of shooting stars and fireworks. They are happy creatures and live in harmony up in the clouds we see every day!

In this far off world up in the clouds there are many bonks (boys) and tinks (girls) but there is a little bonk and a little tink, both about 16 yiks old (8 years, the aging system of the Wizkitts is twice as much as us!). They are very special. They were born connected and they spend their days making mischief and dreaming of all the other things down on earth. Their names are Tuzip and Jazpy!

Now Tuzip and Jazpy loved being connected to each other. This fida (brother) and lupa (sister) shared everything, toys, games and secrets. They even share their pet dragon, Zimbo and their pet winged horse, Kisra! Their Mori (Mom) and Zoffer (Dad) work at the snowflake plant, and make snowflakes while Tuzip, Jazpy and their little lupa, Raqi go to school.

Tuzip and Jazpy look like the rest of the Wizkitts but since they are connected, it is a little different! Since their clothes also had to be connected, there pants were the normal colour of blue, but instead of a red shirt, Tuzip's half was pink and Jazpy's half was green. Like all the other bonks and tinks they stood at 2 zips (the measuring system is the same as their aging system, twice as much as us, 2 zips is the same as 1 ft! ) high. They had little round faces and small bodies.

Tuzip and Jazpy live in a hole in the side of a cloud that Tuzip and Jazpy's Mori and Zoffer dug when they got married. It has a huge kitchen and 3 bedrooms, one for Tuzip and Jazpy, one for Raqi and one for their parents.

Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi all attend a one room schoolhole in Fluffville. Their teacher, Ms. Crankee, is the meanest teacher you could ever want to meet, but trust me you don't want to meet her!

They have a great life up in the clouds and they hope they never have to leave it!

One day Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi desided to skip school and have fun. They ran around Fluffville and played all day. But when Jazpy brought out some firecrackers, they knew they were in for trouble.

"Jazpy, what are you doing with those?" Tuzip asked Jazpy, not sure whether she wanted to know the answer or not. "We're just gonna have a little fun with these." Jazpy replied." They won't hurt nobody"" I'm not sure if this is a good idea Jazpy." Raqi stated. " Aww, come on, you girls are just scared" Jazpy said. "We are not!" Tuzip and Raqi said at the same time. "Well come on then!" Jazpy said as he started down the road to the edge of Fluffville's cloud, bringing Tuzip with him because they are attached. " Come on Raqi I guess we have no choice!" Tuzip said. " Oh all right." said Raqi. " I still don't think this is a very smart idea!"

They played with the fire crackers all day! They threw them over the side of the clouds and watched them fall into the ocean. But after awhile Jazpy wanted to do something more exciting with the fire crackers. " Come on... lets go throw one of these into the schoolhole and see how Ms.Crankee reacts!" Jazpy said, in that mischievous voice that Tuzip and Raqi hated to hear. Everytime they hear that tone in his voice they know they are going to get in trouble for something. "Umm I don't think that is very smart Jazpy."Raqi said. "Someone could get hurt!" But Jazpy had already started walking towards the schoolhole, again dragging Tuzip along with him. "Am I the only smart one here?" Raqi questioned to herself. "I guess so", she said as she saw Tuzip and Jazpy walking down the road to the schoolhole. "I guess I better follow them!"

Jazpy was just about to throw a fire cracker underneath the schoolhole, when the recess bell rang and all the bonks and tinks ran outside to play. It surprised Jazpy so much he fell back and throw the fire cracker up in the air! As it fell towards the snowflake factory, Tuzip and Raqi screamed "Watch out!". But the people inside the factory didn't hear them. The fire cracker flew in the window. BOOM! All the people inside and outside of the factory were thrown up into the air! "Oh no!" cried out Tuzip. "The clouds are all gone. Everyone is flying everywhere! Raqi, grab my hand, quick! Its a long way down!" Raqi, Jazpy and Tuzip all clasped their hands together tightly as they fell towards the earth, not knowing what was to become of them in our strange world.

Down, down, down they fell for what seemed like hours. But finally they hit something. Thud. Then they were bouncing instead of falling.

"Where...are...we?" Tuzip said in a shaky voice for they were bouncing quiet high!

"Er, excuse me," Said something from below them. "But what are you doing on my back?"

"Ahhh, what was that?" Said Raqi, who sounded very frightened.

"I don't know, Raqi, but lets just get off of it!" Jazpy replied.

So they all rolled over and fell to the ground on their heads.

"Whatcha do that for?" Said the thing, who was now peering down at them.

"You...you scared us sir." Tuzip returned.

"Well I'm sorry bout that but, you surprised me, I mean here I was just jumping along and , bam, there are some strange creatures on my back." The jumping creature replied.

"Well we're sorry too but, it isn't our fault, you see, we are Wizkitts and we live up in the clouds." Raqi started to explain." Jazpy here thought it would be funny to throw a firecracker into the schoolhole. That our school. He was surprised by the bell when it rang and he accidentally threw the firecracker backwards into the snowflake plant, that what we do up there, we design snowflakes. And well, the whole factory blew up and we fell down here on top of you."

After saying all this Raqi was quiet out of breath. The strange bouncing creature was slightly confused but just nodded his head and told Jazpy, Tuzip and Raqi to fallow him to some place he called the Uluru.

"Wow, that is a rock?" Jazpy said looking at the Uluru. "Are they all that big?"

"Oh no, hardly any of them are that big, only mountains are really big, the biggest rock of all time is Mount Everest!" Said Ozzie, that was the jumping creatures name, they also found out that he was a creature that humans call a kangaroo.

On the way to the Uluru, Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi explained that they need to find their parents, Ozzie said that he would help, but he didn't have any ideas so he decided to take his new friends to meet What-Her-Name the palatapus.

"Come on you guys!" Ozzie exclaimed. "What-her-name lives just over in the swamp."

So off they went, hoping that What-her-name would be able to help them find Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi's parents!

Once they got to the swamp Ozzie introduced Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi to his friend Whats-her-name. Ozzie's other friend Ladybug was at the swamp for a bath at that time too, so Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi got to meet him also. They found out that Whats-her-name is a palatapus and Ladybug is a kowla. They explained their problem to the animals and Ozzie, Ladybug and Whats-her-name agreed to help Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi find thier parents and the rest of the Wizkitts.

Tuzip, Jazpy, Raqi, Ozzie, Ladybug and Whats-her-name brainstormed for over six hours. They were just about to give up when all of a sudden Ozzie came up with the plan they needed!

"Are you sure we have enough firecrackers Jazpy?" Tuzip asked.

"Yah, theres enough." Jazpy replied.

Their plan to find their parents and the other Wizkitts was almost complete.

"Do you think its really that smart to be using firecrackers again, I mean, they're the reason we're here." Raqi said, for she had rather come to detest firecrackers.

"Don't be such a worry-wart, Raqi." Jazpy said. "We'll be fine, they can't hurt us as long as we don't get in their way!"

"Come on you two, stop arguing, lets get this over with, and pray that this works." Said Tuzip.

You see, their plan to find their parents was that they would spell out "All Wizkitts meet at Mt.Everest!" with the firecrackers. They would light the firecrackers all at the smae time and they would blow up and all the smoke would rise. But the smoke would rise in the form of the message that they wrote. And then they would all go and meet together and climb to the top of Mt. Everest and climb right on to the clouds.

"All right here we go!" Ladybug said as he lighted the first firecracker.

"There's no turning back now!" Yelled out Whats-her-name.

BOOM!

"Did it work?" Asked Raqi in a timid voice.

" I don't know, lets look and see" Said Jazpy.

"Hey look you can see our message in the sky!" Tuzip exclaimed.

"Well I guess you three better be off then" Ozzie said. "If your going to go all the way to Mt.Everest."

"We sure will miss you guys though." Said Ladybug

"Yah we will, make sure you come back next time your on earth!" Cried out Whats-her-name.

"Oh, well after this experience, I don't think we're gonna come back, but we're gonna miss you too!" Said Tuzip.

"Come on you guys we better be going if we're gonna get there by tomorrow." Raqi shout from down the road. She had already started walking down the road towards Asia.

"Coming , coming, coming!" Yelled back Japzy. He was rather sad to be leaving earth, he thought it was a really neat place, but he missed the clouds so he followed Raqi down the road. Then finally Tuzip turned around and ran to catch up to them. Both Tuzip and Jazpy had this sad, happy face, for they were sad to be leaving, but happy to be going, its to hard to explain and you won't have any idea what I'm talking about until you experience it for yourself. As for Raqi, she was rather glad to be going. She was already desispising the whole trip.

So of they were, into the great unknown world. They were quite scared for anything could happen to them. Ozzie warned them about the Asian tigers, that didn't make them feel much better knowing that there are wild, mean animals around. But "A Wizkitt's gotta do, what a Wizkitts gotta do" as Jazpy often said. By that night they reached the Asian border. They crossed it with much ease because all the gaurds thought they were aliens and ran for cover.

"So this is Asia." Tuzip said once they were across the border.

"Yup, I saposs it is." Replied Raqi without much enthusiasm. All of the earth looked the same to her so far, so the trip over to Asia wasn't a big thrill to her.

They walked and walked and walked. After about five hours they stopped for a break, because they could no longer feel there feet. They all plopped down on the nearest tree trunk and fell asleep.

Two hours later Jazpy woke up to the sound somthing growling behide the log he was on.

"Tuzip, Raqi, I think threes something behide us!" He said in a quiet voice, because he didn't want the, well whatever it was, to hear him.

Tuzip and Raqi rolled over on the log and fell to the ground. That sure woke them up!

"Are we there yet?" Raqi said, half asleep half awake.

"What theres something behide us?!?!" Tuzip exclaimed, for she was more awake then Raqi was.

"Yah, lets just climb this tree quietly. Hopfully it won't know how to get us up there!" Jazzy instructed them.

So up they climbed, to the top of the tree. As soon as they were up there the thing jumped out from the bushes.

"Growl." That was all they heard from this orange and black creature. It kept growling and snarling at them up in the tree.

"Jazpy, what is it?" Raqi asked.

"Umm, I don't know Raqi." He anwsered.

"Why I'm a tiger." The animal said.

"Ahhh its a tiger, one of those things Ozzie warned us about!" Cried out Tuzip.

"Why did this friend of yours warn you about me?" The tiger said.

"Ozzie said that you like to eat small animals." Tuzip explained.

"Are you animals?" The tiger asked. " I've never seen a creature like you before."

Well once again they had to explain that they were Wizkitts and they lived in the clouds. They were getting quite good at telling this story.

"Well since your not animals, I won't eat you." Said the tiger, they found out that his name was Sir Stripe. "Why don't you come out of that tree. I know the way to Mt, Everest, I'll give you a ride, hop on!"

So they hopped onto Sir Stripes back and off they were once again to find Mt. Everest.

"We're hhheeeeeerrrrreeeee." Sang out Sir Stripe in a high melodic voice.

"Wow! That way bigger then the Uluru." Cried out Jazpy.

"Whats the Uluru?" Asked Sir Stripe, but nobody wanted to take the time to explain it to him so he just guessed it was another mountain.

"Well I guess we better start climbing." Raqi said.

"Thanks for the ride Sir Stripe!" Said Tuzip.

"Well I hope you get back to them clouds safely." Sir Stripe said.

"Well, we sure will try to!" Jazpy said.

"Don't you guys forget me now!" He said with tears in his eyes, he had become quite attached to these creatures from the sky.

"Oh there is no way that we are going to forget any of this if we don't make it up there in time." Said Raqi. "Hurry up you two."

After they said their last goodbyes they started up the mountian. The higher they went up the colder it got. Soon they were freezing, but they kept on going, hoping that their parents were at the top.

As soon as they got near the top they saw a big crowd.

"Are they who I'm hoping they are?" Raqi said in a somewhat prayerful voice. You could here her under her breath saying "Please let it be them, please let it be them."

Well as soon as they got to the very top all the crowd started cheering and claping. It was the other Wizkitts, They were so greatful to the three young Wizkitts, otherwise they would probally have been stuck on earth forever.

As soon a Tuzip, Jazpy, and Raqi spotted their parents they ran towards them and gave them the biggest hugs you could ever imagen.

After the reuion, they all climbed back onto the clouds. If you saw their faces you could tell that none of them wanted to leave the clouds ever again!

When they arrived home, Tuzip, Jazpy and Raqi realized that there really is no place like home!
