Mailbou's Great Adventure to the United States

My story is about Mailbou having an adventure to America. Smicks are the size of a gallon milk jug. Their heads are the size of baseballs.They are purple withgreen dots Mailbou has yellow wings.

Mailbou lives in Switzerland. She goes to school and goes shopping. She loves to do puzzles and play Ketchem.

It all started when Mailbou wanted to go to America. She traveled on a boat. That is when it all began.

Mailbou was at school one day when she heard a boy saying that he was going to America. She was very interested in America even though she had only read a little bit about it. She was very excited and thought about it all day. Then when she got home that night, she brought it up at dinner to her parents. They were not to happy about it. Thay said they would have to look into it some more.

So the next day Mailbou ran home from school as fast as she could. She asked her mom if she had gotten any information. Her mother said no she would have to wait until her father got home. She was very sad.Her brothers and sisters started to tease and annoy her. She could not wait until her dad got home.

When her father finally got home he said that he had looked into it.He said she would have to have a Chaperone since she was just ten.(She was 18 in our years.) Her dad also said she would have to get a job. So after her graduation that summer she got a job. when she finally got enough money she got her tickets for the boat and her parents took her to the dock. She told them that she loved them , kissed them and hugged them and walked onto her boat.

When she got on her boat it was very crowded she just barely squeeked through. The crew had to turn some people down and she did not want to be one of them. She looked around for her chaperon. Shehad been told that he would come to him. She finally recognized somebody that she knew. Her old teacher! It turned out that he was her chaperon, so they got settled into their rooms. They ate dinner and decided to go to bed early. The next morning they watched for whales and having much success, decided to go and eat lunch. Mailbou decided that she liked her teacher just a little. After all he was only four years older than her and very handsome. They went swimming all that afternoon. Then ate dinner and even danced together.The next day they made plans all morning for what each of them was going to do. Mailbou did not feel very well so decided to go to bed early beacause she did not feel very well. The next morning, when she woke up,she found out she was very sick.The authorities would not let her leave the boat until she was well.It took her three days. Then authorities said she could go. She was very happy to have that part done and behind her

She and her teacher, who's name is Kokie, went to get two hotel rooms nearby. She could not believe how busy it was. The next day she found a job at a washing station where she was to wash clothing. She was not to happy about this because she was the daughter of a chief.

A year passed by and Mailbou and Koki fell in love and got married. they had four kids. She quit her job and homeschooled her kids.Mailbou and Koki became very rich. So rich that they sent some money back to Switzerland so her family could come to America.

Mailbou never went back to Switzerland. She stayed in the United States and became a citizen. Mailbou lived a long and happy life in America, the Land of Her Dreams.
