Caroline has medium length reddish hair that curls under. She is 15 yr's old. She loves taking on challenges like finding answer to human and animal problems. She likes to read about natural disasters and man made disasters. She longs to be a paramedic. She is the second oldest of 9 kids. Caroline lives on a 20 acre farm.On the farm she has goats,cows,chickens,dogs and cats,And most of all Horses!.She shows horses,goats And is going to start showing Cows. She is involved in 4-H.She is home-schooled. The house she lives in is three stories high the out side is white with red shutters.Her favorite lesson's in school are math and english. ChatterBox Is a brown and white striped Chipmunk. His tail is a foot and a 1/2 , and has six short legs.He is friendly,'sept when he does not sleep at night. He loves too talk , that is why he is called Chatterbox.He can speak english and fench and spanish when needed, can also do american sign language.He likes too eat almonds and peanuts he also likes peanut butter and grape jelly .He is six years old.his birthday is on November 14. he likes too swim, and play Ping-Pong, he is a fan of the Cubs Baseball team.His favorite books are:Night of the Twister (that is also his favorite movie)Lord of the Rings,and Star Wars. his favorite movies are:Twister.Night of the Twister, and Atomic Twister. Chatterbox Chimpmunk lives in Richmond, Va. his house is a personalized tree house that is located inside his owner's master bedroom! the interior is painted blue-green. on the Ceiling it is blue cloud's he walls are also blue.! it has 4 window's in the room and 2 in the tree house.He has a T.V. set that has 6 channel's on it!. he has a gold fish bowl,with 13 gold fish his Treee in 15ft tall and 13ft wide!.
"come on Caroline let's move it" "just a sec Mum" " okay honey"...That was 3 week's ago now she was in Dublin, Ireland. summer break and nothing to do at all.Miles away from all that she called "familiar". Stuck in a Cottage baby-sitting home-sick siblings and a angry talking Chipmunk that was sleepy form lack of sleep.Miles from a town or park .*sigh* "If only there was a Horse show to go too, or a Farm to tend" *sigh* Caroline was saying to herself as the storm began to subside."Wait, maybe I can get a summer job with horses" she softly said *yawning*reminded herself to ask her mom later.
Shouts of "Mom's home" and "She's Back" awoke Caroline with a start! She jumped up and went to help her momma get the food from the Market in from the Car.."Mom, I need to talk to you","just a sec honey","okay mom,I will be in the seomra teaghlaigh" Irish word for living room.Her mom turned around an smiled "see? I told you,you would learn some words in know time at-all".
10 min. later her momma sat down on the couch "careful momma Chatterbox is sleeping" "okay honey I will", Caroline approached her idea like this "Mom,you know I love to ride horses,right?" "yes I do" ," well Chatterbox needs more exercise and so do I , so I was wondering if you would let me get a job at the local Horse Track?".Caroline looked at her mom,her mom looked at her and said a simple"yes".Caroline went wild.She was so happy,and said" thank you so much momma,Thank you thank you"!.Chatterbox, was really happy to , as he loved riding horses.
Next day Caroline went down to the race track to see about getting a job.She went into the Main Office and asked if they had a job for her.Yes, they did they told her the Track exerciser had retired the day before, and if she could ride good she could have the job. she could ride up to there standers and got the job. only one thing Girl rider's were not popular and she would have to ride them in the dunes of Dublin,fine she said and she got the job.
A few days later her momma asked her to get her siblings involved in the 4-H in Dublin,she complied to her mom's wishes and the very next Friday she took them.It was a really interesting.She took Chatterbox with her, Chatterbox was very good an didn't say anything till a little girl said" look at that funny dog" then he got mad and said"hey I am not a dog I am a Chipmunk,so their" naturally after that he was the main topic of the meeting,when she got home with them she was telling her mom all about the new friend she met "Her name is Sarah Adam's she is the same age as me and a complete drama queen,she said that she is mad because there are no beaches to go to get a tan".
Two week's later and Caroline's job was going great.One day she was riding a Horse named "Ron's Flying Beauty" when she heard a noise in the bushes Chatterbox {who always rode behind her} said "I see a girl behind that sand dun".
Caroline pulls the Horse to a stop, and say's "where Chatter-box where?"
"Over there behind the big rock" chatterbox said.
"O, your right I see her," exclaimed Caroline.
Dismounting Caroline tied the horse up and moved to go around the rock talking softly, all the while saying "little girl, let me help you please". The little girl's eyes were large, she was shaking, and she face had taken a ghastly color, Caroline having read several medical books, knew that she needed food, and a hot bath. Finally reaching her grabbed her and proceeded to scan over her, looking for any visible signs of injures,
Thinking to her self " good! No injuries, I sure could use Sarah now". Low And Behold Sarah comes riding by in a buggy,
"Hey Sarah I need you now," Caroline called.
Sarah jumped down and cried out in surprise, "This is the little girl who's Mum and Dad were killed on a fishing trip A week ago, the little girl turned up missing after the funeral."
Caroline was letting the new-found information sink in. When all of a sudden Chatterbox yells, at the same time jumping up and down as fast as his 6 legs would let him, saying "she is talking to me, she is talking to me." Throughout this whole ordeal Caroline had been trying to get the girl, which she believed was traumatized, into speaking,
Caroline says, "Good ask her what her name is." Chatterbox did. She said " Amy, I am 8".
Caroline and Sarah both rejoiced silently and said "lets get Amy in the buggy", and proceeded to do just that. Slowly making there way down the road heading for home.
They had an uneventful trip home but when they reached home the excitement began. All the brothers and sisters clamored outside seeing Amy began to ask many questions. Curiosity took hold as they brought Amy into the house.
Caroline answered,"Her name is Amy and we found her behind some bushes behind the sand dunes."
Her mother and father hearing the commotion ushered everyone into the house and quieted everyone down so Caroline could tell her story. After hearing the story her parents quietly exited the room, and reentered a short time later.
They announced,"We will adopt Amy and take her home to the states."
So in the end, Caroline found a good friend in Sarah Rose Adams, a new Sister, and a summer that she would remember for the rest of her life.
