My name is Fred Ventor. I am a tall, ten year old boy who likes to play bocce and capture the flag. I have a dark birthmark on my nose that everyone always thinks is dirt. I live with my father, mother, five sisters and three brothers.
In Bulgaria I got a tadopus and I named him Victor. A tadopus is a tadpole and a octopus put together. When it is born, it has no legs and only four tentacles. When it is six years old, it starts to grow little feet and tentacles about a centimeter long. When it is thirteen it is fully grown, has all eight tentacles, dog feet and lungs. It makes a sort of honking noise. They run really fast, but they swim even faster. Victors a male, seven year old. He has only six tentacles and is the size of a small dog.
"Fred, you're going to miss the bus." Fred slowly got up, looked at the clock and said, "Holy Moly." He jumped up, got dresses, took his toast and ran on to the bus. While he walked along the bus, he thought, "Oh good, Pegus isn't here." He sat down (alone as usual) and thought. You see, Fred doesn't have many friends (none, to be exact). Only his family and "Honk". Fred jumped, Victor must have sneaked into his backpack.
"Victor", Fred said. "Honky Honk" said the tadopus. Fred thougt"Oh well, at least I have some company(for once)". Three hours later....they got at their destination. The NASA Spaceport. It was huge! "We're lucky to be here boy" said Fred. "Hoooooonk" Victor replied.
The tour guide was standing at the front door. When they all got out, she said" Welcome to the NASA Spaceport, the biggest spaceport in the world. My name is Tina. I will be your guide." Fred looked up and mainly all he saw was spaceships. "Please follow me" Tina said. When they got in, Tina turned around and said "Right now you will get to see a ship bla.......What's that?" Everyone turned around to see a creature the size of a small dog run away. "Victor" Fred said while running after him.
Victor thought to himself "Wonder what's in here?" Fred yelled to him" Victor, that's the ship that's going to blast off" (he knew this because it was smoking). Fred ran in after him. But when he got in the door, "BANG' it closed. "Holy Moly". Victor ran towards Fred, beacuse he heard the bang, and started shaking. Fred wondered why he was shaking. But then he found out. Fred picked up Victor and looked out the window. The spaceship was already taking off.
Fred and Victor were looking out the window when a man, about the age of 23, came around the corner. When he saw them, he yelled"Holy Moly!". Fred replied"We're in trouble." Fred told the man, whose name was Neville. He told him everything that was going on. After a while, when everyone thought they were okay, the ship just stopped.
Everyone ran to get a spacesuit on."Here Fred, it might be a little big". Once they all got their suits on, the captain Arnold said "OK guys, there's a satellite just over there. Everyone go over there so we can phone earth". Fred and Victor (Victor was in a space helmet) jumped out just as the ship exploded. The only bad thing was that Fred's rocket burned out, and Victor didn't have one, meaning that they got separated from Neville, Arnold and the rest. "Aliens will probably kill us", Fred joked. But no one laughed, "Honk, Honk, Honk" said Victor which probably "I think you are right". Fred looked to where Vistor was pointing and saw a light. "Holy Moly" Fred said.
The light was an alien ship that came closer and closer every second. Finally it stopped right in front of them. A door opened up and Fred said, "Maybe we should go in". "Honk" Victor choked. "It's better than suffocating", said Fred. So they went into the ship. The door closed right behind them. Then Fred and Victor jumped as a man(or in their case, alien) came down the hall.
"Qreetings" said the alien. "My qame is Finales. But you can qall me Fin". Fred and Victor looked at each other and Fred said" Aren't you going to blast us?" Fin said"Why would I quo that?" Fred replied "Because that's what aliens do". "Some quo, but not us Qublys. We're the biggest peace qeepers out of all 396 planets". (Note:Fin and other Qublys speak with Q's, just in case you were wondering)
Fred and Victor sighed in relief. "My name's Fred and this is my tadopus, Victor. Why are you here anyways?" Fin replied "Oh...I qike earth qecause its round". Fred asked, "What shape is your world?" "It's Qlat" said Fin.
Fin was the only one driving the Father Ship. "You qust be hungry?' Fin said. Fred replied"Oh yes". Fred and Victor were thinking about pizza. But Fin gave them something that looked like lasagna and cucumbers. "I don't think we should eat that" Fred said. Fin laughed and replied "Qon't worry, Che-Fungers have proved qhat yoen(That the name of food) is qompletly healthy for any person or qreature in the whole universe". Fred and Victor slowly ate it and Fred said" It's okay". Fin laughed the rest of the way to Moblybia.
"Moblybia' Fin said. Fin was right. Its qlat - as flat as ever. When they landed, all these wierd aliens came up asking questions because they had never seen an earthling before. Finally, an alien gotup and said"Stop it guys, he's just like us". When everyone left, Fred, Fin and Victor went up to the guy and said "Thanks". The guy replied "You're welcome, my name is Nuke". "My name is Fred, this is Fin and this is Victor". They all went over to Fins place (Fin and Nuke knew each other) and watched GI (graphical images - to us that means TV).
After a while of having fun, Victor said"Honk, Hok". "Qhat's wrong?" said Fin. Fred replied "I don't know". All of a sudden, a robot came in and started shooting with a fire gun. Fred hid behind the couch and found a Laser-whip in a drawer. He pressed the button and started whipping. Fred had a normal whip at home so he was pretty good at it. Whenever the robot shot, Fred tied the whip around the bullet and it burned away to nothing. Finally, the robot ran away, dropping something behind it. Nuke picked it up and it read;
After lots of talking, everyone went to bed. In the morning there was more talking. "I wonder qhat the laser qill do?" Fin said. Fred replied, "Maybe it will blow up the whole world". Nuke said"I don't know, anyways I've got to get home. See ya". When Nuke left, Fred and Fin sat there thinking. Then Fred instantly stood up and said, "Where's Victor?" Fin stood up and said "Qh oh, the doors are opened". They both ran out the door and they saw a little orange tail run around a corner. Fred and Fin ran after it. "Victor, get back her" Fred said.
Victor thought"Man, Moblybias cool!" and went through a door. Fred and Fin ran after him and when they ran through the door they found not only Victor, but a BIG , HUMUNGOUS LASER!!!! They looked back at the door and noticed that it said, DO NOT ENTER - HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE!!!
Fred, Victor and Fin all looked at each other and then went to examine the laser. "This qust be what the qard meant" Fin said.
"No kidding" Fred replied.
"Honky Honky Hoooooonk" Victor said.
As we all might know, Victor doesn't speak English, he Honks. Meaning that Fred & Fin had trouble translating (which is strange, because Fred usually always does.) "What" Fred said back.
"Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk" Victor babbled.
"You're hurt"
"Honk"
You're hungry"
"Honky Honk"
"What's wrong then"
"Hooooooonk"
"Qaybe he's tired"
"Then why did he run all the way here"
"I qon't know"
"Hey, where'd he go"
"I qon't know that either"
"Well than help find him"
Fred and Fin looked all around them. The door was closed, there was no windows, they couldn't find him until a loud "HOOOOOOOOOONK" was heard. Fin jumped and said "The Qobots here" Why didn't it come to them? It was the robot card that tolled them about the laser, so obviously the robot was one of the ones who was behind it. Fred and Fin thought quick and ducked before they were blasted to fragments.
Then Fin got up and jumped for his life. Fred sat up and hit his head so everything looked as if it were in slow motion. So he saw Fin in the air doing all these cool moves to dodge the laser bullets the robot was shooting. In a couple of minutes, Fin came back with two Lightsabers, like the ones from the Star Wars saga.(Note: George Lucas has been to Moblybia before. In fact, Walt Disney, Elton John, Ozzy Ozbourne, C.S. Lewis and Jim Hansen have too.)
Fred pressed the button and out came a purple blade. Unlike most boys, Fred liked purple. Fred and Fin started fighting. It was kind of like baseball, the Robot pitched a bullet, Fred or Fin hit it a way (because a laser can't go trough another laser) and then the one who hit it ran to the next base, trying to get closer to Victor, who was curled up in the corner.
Finally, Fin got close enough to cut the Robots hand off. The Robot bawled with pain which only meant one thing, The Robot wasn't a Robot, it was either a human or an alien.(because a robot doesn't have nerves) The human/alien fell to the ground and Fred, Fin and Victor ran to see it. Fred said "Fin, if we survive all this, then you got to show me some of those moves." Fin blushed bright blue (that's the color they blushed). Fin took off the mans mask and he turned out to be "PAGUS" (Was it obvious?)
All of the sudden a voice said "So you finally found out."
There stood a man about their size. They couldn't really see him, he was in the dark. Fred didn't notice this, he was still focusing on Pagus being the one behind it.
"Let me tell you a story" the man said. When he finished that sentence, Fred, Fin and Victor realized (Victor didn't really realize, it just sounds more dramatic to say it) that the man was not a man, he was an alien, and his name was.......... You think I'm going to tell you this early into the story, YOU'RE WRONG. You'll just have to wait and see.
" When I was only six years old I was transported to earth because of a war here on Moblybia. When I landed, I noticed that all the people were different. So I saw a boy named Edmund and killed him so I could put a robot in him. There was a camera so I could see what I was doing (he could control the robot) and a speaker so I could say stuff trough the robot. One day I ended up having to go to a place called school, and I met some people who did bad stuff. Unlike most people, I liked them. Then, one day I thought of something that would change the world forever."
" After the long time of being with these people, and thinking about the war back home, I thought I would try to take over the galaxy. I would do this by making a laser that would blow up the sun, so a black hole would be created. Seeing that the sun would make a bigger hole then other stars, I figure that it would suck all the planets in the MilkyWay galaxy towards it. All 396 planets would smash together and become one whole planet. The hole would lead to another universe that I have proved to have no planets, so we'll all live there for the rest of our lives."
"But to do that was another matter. I had to find supplies, a hiding place and most of all, I admit that I needed help. So I looked around the so called "school" for a helper. Then, one day I found two people who were talking about planes (remember, they're six). One of them was skinny and wouldn't be able to help at all. But the other, was perfect. His name was Pagus Calmer. So I lured him back to my spaceship and he refused to help me. So I took out a MindController3000 and obviously controlled his mind. Whenever I took him here, I made a special suit that would make him stronger. Just two weeks ago we finished this masterpiece. I was so happy, I even decided to change my name to something more evil, more fearful. So I decided I would name myself, ............ Nuke."
"Nuke, you traitor" Fred yelled.
Nuke replied "That doesn't matter at the moment. What really matters is what I'm supposed to do with all you little dimwits. Any suggestions Agent 1796." Pagus got up, holding the place were Fin cut his hand off, and said, "Why don't you wash their memories"
"Swell, Pagus, Swell." said Nuke, picking up a machine that obviously washed memories. When Nuke had the brain washer aimed, he said
"Whenever I finished this, I'll own every single planet in the galaxy. Including Earth, Moblybia, Ubsent, Clrellia, Uranus, Neptune, Che-Fung and much more." There it was, they failed. But man, were they wrong. "GONG, GONG, GONG,............"
"Qring your WristBlasters, your LaserWhips, qour Lightsabers, for petesake qring a weapon" Fin yelled. Fred and Victor had not even been thinking about Fin. He must have sneaked away without anyone knowing. They had been in an old community hall, meaning that there was a bell. One by one the aliens came in (it was a big hall) and finally there was a army of aliens way bigger than your backyard. A alien came up to them. He moved his head up towards them (his left hand was his head) and asked
"So, what is are strategy" Fred replied
"Um.......well........lets see..........Holy Moly, I don't know. Just kill the bad guy" then the alien, who's name was Zebol, yelled out loud "CHARGE" and at that, everybody was fighting.
Nuke had sent out some of his robots to help fight (Nuke had robots to help make the laser) Fred was using his lightsaber. He was awesome at it. Pagus was trying to get closer to Fred so he could kill him. But it was hard to do with one arm. Victor was spreading ink on the robot so they couldn't see and then a good guy would destroy it. Fin was using his lightsaber too. Zebol was using a WristBlaster. When all the robots were blown up, destroyed, melted etc. Nuke said,
"Now then, you were good enough to beat me, you're not good enough to beat this" and then he jumped over them all.(there's less gravity on Moblybia) Everyone who had a gun was shooting at him, but they all missed.
You couldn't tell if Nuke was flying or not. He was pretty high of the ground. Whenever he was about to land, everybody knew what he was doing. He was going to land on the button that shot the laser. Everybody tried to stop him. Then one guy shot him right in the head. But they were too late, he landed on the button already.
"Perfect, he's dead but he still shot the laser." Fred said.
"Who qhot him anyways." Fin asked.
"I did." whenever everybody saw who shot him, they all made way so he could go talk to Fred, Fin and Victor.
Fin said "It's Toll, the president of the galaxy."
Toll flapped his wings (he was very short, so I gave him wings), flew up to them and said,
"Are you the ones that called us all here?"
"Qh......yeah." Fin replied.
"Good, then you will be the ones to stop the laser. It should hit its destination in around.........five hours.
So pick some people out of the crowd to go with you and you can make a plan while your in space."
So Fred, Fin and Victor chose Zebol to come with them. And right when they were about to go to the FatherShip, a voice said,
"I'm coming too" and they found Pagus walking with them. Pagus's mask got hit off so the mind controller busted.
Fred smiled and said "Come on."
Fred, Fin Pagus, Zebol and Victor hopped on the FatherShip and flew away after the laser beam. Fin was in the cockpit driving, Fred and Pagus were in the livingroom talking and Victor was with Zebol making better plans then him.
"Qaser spotted. Qhat's our plan" Fin yelled
"Hooooooooonk" Victor honked. Zebol came in the cockpit and said,
"Victor wrote this. Will shoot the laser cannon right in front of the laser from the left side so the laser will go off course to a meteor shower where it will probably hit a meteor." (remember, a laser can't go through another laser)
"When did Victor learn to write" Fred said. Victor put on a guilty face, but that doesn't matter now. "Alright then, I'll take the cannon" Pagus said.
Fin replied "Qou probably shuoldn't. You qeed a robotic arm. Qome with me"
Zebol took control of the ship once Fin and Pagus left. Which left Fred to control the cannon.
"Holy Moly, I'm probably gonna miss" he said.
There was the laser, it was right in front of them. Fred's heart was beating way harder then a drum. Then he heard his grandfather, Daniel Brown, say inside his mind,
"You can do it Fred. The galaxy is counting on you"
Fred didn't know why this happened, but decided to talk, or think, back
"I don't think you know what your saying grandpa." his Grandpa said back
"Think Fred, think, what do you think your luckiest thing is. Something you take everywhere you go"
Fred thought. He took socks, some pennies, Victor had a clover tied to his tail be cause he didn't think he was lucky and........
"VICTOR."
Tadopus' were very lucky.
"Perfect" Fred's grandpa said.
Fred yelled, "VICTOR, GET UP HERE"
Victor came up really scared. He thought Fred was mad at him. Fred said
"Victor just.......sit right there."
When Victor was comfortable, Fred took his aim at the laser beam, this needed to be a good shot. Then, he shot. Only luck could help them now. Then, a very bright light and a very loud sound broke out. When the Light was gone and the sound stopped, Fred heard the others yelling ,
"YOU DID IT FRED. YOU SAVED THE GALAXY."
There was a big party on the Father Ship that day. Fred was hugged by everyone on the ship. Fin said, "Fred, Qagus and Victor, you quys better get qack to earth"
Fred and Pagus said
"WHAT" while Victor said
"HONK".
So Fin started to drive them all back. Fred, Pagus and Victor didn't want to go, but they knew they had to. Whenever earth was in sight, they all said there goodbyes, let Fred, Pegus and Victor off and the aliens flew off.
"So, what do we do now" Pegus said.
Victor replied "Honky Honk".
Fred and Pagus looked to where Victor was pointing and saw a bus driving by.
"It's the school bus, Moblybias time must go faster then ours" Fred said.
So they all sneaked through the emergency door while someone was getting off and acted like they were there the whole time. (Note: in case you were wondering, everybody thought that Fred had come back from chasing Victor and that Pagus was there the whole time).
Whenever Fred and Victor got home his grandpa was visiting.
"Hello Fred, come here I want to talk to you" Fred went in, not at the least bit confused, and sat down. Fred's Grandpa said ,
"Fred, when I was your age I went on an amazing adventure. I went to a planet called........." "Moblybia" Fred finished
"Good, good. Now then, remember when I helped you in space" Grandpa said.
"Yep" Fred replied.
Grandpa said "Well I contacted you with this" Grandpa held up a machine.
"It's a Machine that lets you talk to someone through your mind, and they can talk back. Just write down their name and this satellite will track down all the people or aliens that have that name. But don't ask me what it's called, I forgot that years ago"
Fred replied "Holy Moly"
Grandpa laughed and said "You can have it, but don't tell anyone about it and Moblybia. It can be our little secret"
"There's nothing little about a planet Grandpa"
Grandpa laughed and slowly fell asleep. Fred ran up to his room, let Victor out and jumped on his bed. "Its good to be back" Fred said.
"Honky Honk Honk" Victor agreed.
And they thought that was the End, but they haven't been to Ubsent yet.
